Premenstrual syndrome effects over 70% to 90% of women before menopause in the US and less for women in Southeast Asia because of their difference in living style and social structure. Liver blood stagnation, is a milder form of impaired blood flow(2) in the abdominal region(1) including uterus causes of  menstrual pain and cramps(1)(2) before the period. By releasing the blood stagnation,  in the abdomen, certain herbs have shown to relieve symptoms of PMS, including migraine(2).
1. Angelica root
